This web site is maintained by Robert W. Heald. Age 76, born in Wisconsin and raised in California. He moved 24 times in 32 years with IBM including a two year assignment in Milan, Italy.

Bob credits his interest in genealogy from his grandmother Winnie Cate Heald and his aunts Alice and Luella Heald. They were collectors of Heald photos and ancestral memorabilia, much of which was inherited when his mother died in 1991. In the 1950's Jack Wendel Heald of Oregon visited his parents several times in Sonoma, California to collect what the family had in genealogy data for the Healds. He also can be credited for some of his early interest in the Heald family history.

Bob lives in Alpharetta, GA just outside of Atlanta and when not working in the gardening, golfing, or doing charitable work, he is working with computer programs.

His interests in computers go back to the days of college in 1958 when he was awarded an IBM scholarship to study computers at UCLA and San Jose State University in getting his master's degree in business.

Bob started his internet company, Internet Application Services in 1991 and has done web sites for many non-profit, for profit companies and organizations and for individuals.
