This web site hopefully will provide a means for Heald/Hale relatives to communicate with those that are interested in bettering their own knowledge of their ancestry.

As a by product of this work, it hopeful that it will also motivate others to learn more about their heritage.

Also, it is to enjoy and entertain. Hopefully it will also bring some relatives together as friends and associates.

This site was set up as a tool for genealogical research with the surname of Heald and Hale.

We follow only the Hale name as it is used as an alternative to Heald as descendents became known and recorded as Hale instead of Heald.

It is common for people to mispronouce the name Heald using "Hale", "Held" and other pronouctiations as they fail to use two sylables. "He - uld" or "Healed" as most Healds pronouce the name today.

Our objective is to gather all of the family information that we  have in hopes that others will contribute to the growth and accuracy of the family tree kept on and off line.

Together, we can increase the accuracy of the data in each of our efforts to document the Heald genealogy.
